Honda Integra 750cc
It's just not the Integra you want.
In case you've been living under a rock for the last month, have we got some good news for you. The Acura Integra is set to return in 2022.
We don't know much about it yet, but we do know that it will likely be cheaper than a good used Integra R, as those are fetching a mighty premium these days. An Integra Type R recently sold for $51,000, but unfortunately, the owner crashed it during one final drive.
What you might not know is that the new Integra will soon be available in China. Before you get jealous, allow us to explain. The Chinese Integra is nothing more than a badging exercise based on the all-new Honda Civic Sedan. The leak comes from the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

The Chinese Honda Integra looks a lot like the standard Civic, albeit with slimmer headlights, a blacked-out grille, dual exhausts, and more aggressive alloy wheel designs. You can see the main differences between the standard USA Civic Sedan and this so-called Integra below.
In terms of power, there are no upgrades. It's the same 1.5-liter turbocharged four-pot delivering 182 horsepower and 177 lb-ft of torque. When the Acura Integra is revived in the US, we're expecting a little more power in the form of a Type S variant.
The American Integra will also be more of a stunner, and we're happy to see it return. The Acura NSX hasn't been a massive success and its own Type S variant is now a final send-off. More Type S variants are coming, with Acura looking to reignite the fire of driving pleasure in the brand's offerings.

The Honda Civic has been a good doer for parent brand, Honda, and will likely be the platform underpinning the new Integra. While little has been confirmed, we suspect it will be a proper low-slung coupe and not some crossover. But Acura says multiple body styles could be offered.
So far, Acura has only hinted at the styling of the Integra, but it looks like it will be sharp and angular in the same vein as the originals.
As for this China-spec Integra, they can keep it. It will most likely come as standard with a CVT gearbox, which has no place on a car with such a well-respected badge.
